Storage was never the problem.
Finding it again was.

Intellodocs is made by Imbibe Technologies, a product engineering firm that has spent fifteen years building systems for organisations where a missing document is a real problem — statutory bodies, regulated industries and professional practices.

Why we built it

Generic storage asks everyone
to be a librarian.

A shared drive is a filing cabinet with a search box. It assumes somebody will download the attachment, rename it sensibly, decide which folder it belongs in, and do that every single time — including at 11:47pm, including on a phone, including in the middle of a filing deadline.

Nobody does. So the tax notice stays in the chat thread, the executed agreement stays three forwards deep, and the scan stays on one associate's desktop until they resign. Every organisation we have worked with had a filing system. Almost none of them were full.

Principle 01

Meet people where they already are

If a product requires someone to install, register and learn a folder structure, it has already failed. The chat is the inbox. The mailbox is the inbox. We adapt to the channel, not the other way round.

Principle 02

Read the content, never the filename

IMG-20260812-WA0043.jpg tells you nothing. What is inside it tells you everything — the kind of record, the parties, the dates, the amounts. Extraction is the product; tagging is a tax we refuse to charge.

Principle 03

Never answer without proof

Our users sign their names to what they produce. An answer they cannot verify is worse than no answer, so every response is bound to the passage it came from — and when there is no passage, we say so.

Track record

Not a first attempt
at software.

Intellodocs is what a team that has been shipping enterprise systems since 2010 built once it understood exactly where documents go to die.

Institutional

Digital transformation for ICSI

We built for the Institute of Company Secretaries of India — a statutory professional body whose members live inside compliance documentation. Much of what we know about records, retention and access control came from that work.

Governance

GovernEx

A data-led governance and remuneration platform, where the audit trail mattered as much as the analysis.

Platform

ItNet

Our own SaaS foundation — role-based access, versioning, immutable audit logs and configurable data residency, deployable as managed cloud, a dedicated instance, or on-premise inside a customer's own network. Intellodocs runs on it, which is why those things were never features to be added later.

Practice

AI engineering

Generative AI, automation workflows, agentic systems and LLM integration as a standing capability — not a pivot.

Early access

We're looking for our
first hundred organisations.

Phase 1 customers get white-glove setup, migration of the archive they already have, and a direct line to the people building it. Cloud, dedicated or on-premise.
